Paraguay

Paraguay (along with Bolivia) is the only landlocked country in South America. Paraguay is often referred to as “Corazón de América” - Heart of America.

The official languages are both Spanish and Guaraní.

Paraguay is found on the Tropic of Capricorn, with an average yearly temperature approaching 70 degrees Fahrenheit. You will find it is more rainy and humid in the East, dry and arid in the West.

There is complete freedom of religion in Paraguay. The Consitution ensures that the church and state are separate bodies. 92% of Paraguans are Catholic.
